DD has emailed SS staff about the possibility of changing her assigned session twice, due to conflict with NASS, but we haven’t gotten any response. I assumed it was due to waiting until all acceptances were back in and determining what spots were available, but haven’t even had a response from admissions or SS staff. Has anyone else heard anything to the contrary? Thanks!

Just got a word(email) back from the admissions about the SS schedule change request. They have noted my request and are waiting for more schedule conflicts with other students to see what swaps they can make. They’ll update if the change can be accommodated.
This was from last Friday. No update yet..

While they should have sent a quick reply to at least acknowledge your request . . .

Summer seminar notifications went out when, Tuesday of last week? They're probably swamped with wrapping up appointments for the incoming class.

Several of my students received the same response due to conflicts with other activities. Let's see what they can accommodate -- it is usually limited. A few of my students received a 'change' last year.

By the way, there are other great ways to "see" the Academy. One good route is by attending one of the USAFA summer sports camps. Many of my students have participated in them across all of the SAs. Students stay in the dorms, eat in the mess hall, meet cadets and staff, and they also work with the coaching staff. Might be a good alternative for some!

I just received an email today confirming my switch from session A to session B. Hope you all hear something soon.
