Swap virtual summer seminar for in person?

Hello,
My daughter got into the virtual summer seminar. I'd like to see if anyone would like to swap their in-person session for virtual?

USAFA has told a number of my students that they are not moving students from the virtual session the others. Perhaps your daughter heard otherwise? As I note to all of my students, the summer seminars are limited programs, so the vast majority of cadets today did not attend the summer seminar in the prior year.

By the way, there are other great ways to see the Academy. One good route is by attending one of the USAFA summer sports camps. Many of my students have participated in them across all of the SAs. Students stay in the dorms, eat in the mess hall, meet cadets and staff, and they also work with the coaching staff. Good luck!

Did you email them about a change? I know they have a waitlist they could put her on.
 
My daughter was offered a switch late last week but declined it due to NASS. So maybe there is still a chance- she had emailed when she was accepted but heard nothing until last week.

I will say it’s unlikely, the deadline was the 15th I believe and those who didn’t accept would have fallen off and they would have started on the waiting list. It never hurts to give it a try though. I only know of 3 on this board that I’ve been following that have gotten a successful change and they were very early on.
