I sent all my remedial/waiver paperwork to dodmerb back in the middle of October. I still have not heard back yet. I called dodmerb back in December and they told me that they have recieved all the paperwork needed and that the response time varies. My fingers are crossed!
Katrina, since you have an appointment, they will do their best to get you a medical waiver. Just stay on top by keeping in touch. Mr. Anderson is really nice and emails right back.
Just keep checking your DODMERB portal. They'll put it on there. D got DQ'd for eczema. Maybe three weeks later asked for all records pertaining to any treatment. Now waiting for response. And Mr. Anderson is very nice as well as her AOL Lt. Eames and Lt. Herold and have gotten right back and answered all questions.
I'm not really knowledgeable about the CGA, but I do know that Mr. Larry Mullen (DoDMERB Deputy Director ) recently posted his contact information in the DoDMERB forum. He is amazing when it comes to resolving DoDMERB difficulties and concerns!
