My son has his physical tomorrow. He attended Summer seminar and AIM, and did very well on the CFA and PFE. He is is great shape, runs and wrestles. He was told not to exercise prior to the test due to the possibility of exercise induced protein showing up in the urine test. According the DoDMerb Ht/Wt scale, he may be over by around 3-5 pounds. Depending on his Ht. (he is 5"7 3/4" without shoes and 5'8" with shoes), I am assuming they will round up to 68". If he ran and worked up a good sweat today, I know that weight would come off but could cause protein. So my question is, has anyone been over according to the chart and do they DQ because of this, or should he take a chance and run today even though it may cause protein and may have to repeat the urine portion? Which is the lesser of two evils?
