Attending the game this weekend. There are lots of activities Friday. Has anyone been there for the day before festivities?

Thanks!

Boxing Smoker! Pep rally!

We saw the events at the stadium but is there information about events on the Naval Academy? We are bringing two nominated candidates and want to see it all!

Thanks for the information!

I'm working on finishing a final paper for Ohio State while still teaching all week. I'll sleep in the car on the way! ;)

OK, as an USNA dad and in honor of Army/Navy week, I hav a corny joke. What do Navy Midshipmen and West Point Cadets have in common?

Answer: They all wanted to go to Navy!

If you could make it, you can see the Ball Run sendoff at 0705 in T Court on Friday. Dress warm!!!

Thanks for all the tips! We are packed and ready to go. I am not sure who is more excited - the adults or the candidates.

I am thankful to be able to experience this with my son. It's been a roller coaster ride and it's not over but whenever he ends up, he has done everything he could do to achieve his goal of an appointment. It's time to have some fun. :)

If Army sings last...I'll buy the first Army vet I meet (hopefully someone from this forum) cocktails of their choice and in quantity at my favorite Annapolis saloon....O'Leary's.

After a day of festivities by the stadium, watching the F - 35's fly over Bancroft Hall, experiencing so much with our son and enjoying the food, we are getting ready for the actual game tomorrow.

It truly is a bucket list experience. :)

Glad you enjoyed it - definitely wouldn't be the same if you were at WP! ;)
Were you able to see the ball run sendoff this morning as well?

Temps in the 30's with a seasonally delightful Bay breeze (tongue planted in cheek) possibly driving the "feels like" into the 20's.
No precip.

Wear your hunting socks, Under Armour cold gear tops and bottoms under your outer layers, something serious for the ears, neck, head and hands. Those little chemical warmers in packets. Lip balm. Sun screen if you burn.

I've posted this before, but know NFL rules for stadium carry-ins - tiny wristlets of specified size not handbags, clear plastic tote bags of a certain size. No backpacks, etc.

Have fun. We have front row sofa seats this year. Complete with dozing warm boxers, and something yummy to eat. Mule stew?
