Actually, we were surprised last year when our son had the same remedial request. At first we were a little shaken wondering what could the problem possibly be. But then we learned that any protein detection may result in a remedial request. We further learned that any physical activity prior to the test (ie. sports) could elevate protein levels. He was advised to drink plenty of water and minimize physical activity prior to the test. Remedial was good.
