but here's what my message read:

    Thank you very much!
I'm very happy that you took your time to post on the forum and even send me a private message back here.

I've already completed my ALO interview back in August, and he told me I'm probably the strongest candidate he's had. So, I don't doubt that he wrote me a good recommendation.

However, I would very much like to see if I could get an LOA in hand in order to plan accordingly with my nomination sources for possibly other service academies.

Who are the candidates that receive LOA's? What kind of stats do they have?
    Thanks! :D

OK, well if it doesn't work out, it doesn't work out. We will fly to CO as much as possible for significant events to support DS. I certainly DO NOT want to draw attention to DS and have him doing extra pushups because his parents were in the Army and didn't wear blue.
    Hi,
I was wondering if Doolies are allowed to go to away football games. We were thinking about going to the AF v Army game this fall at West Point, since it's kind of neat that it will be my son's freshman year at USAFA and it will be the 30th anniversary of my senior year at USMA. If he can't go, it won't be as much fun, and we can always wait until next year when the game is at home in CO. Thanks!
Thank you! My DS likes Best Buy too. I thought USAFA issues a laptop, but so far I've read about buying a printer and monitor. So what tech stuff will DS really need? Are they allowed to have headphones during freshman year to listen to music?
Dad, I found a little place south west of Denver near a National Foresr with cabins to rent. A little out of the way, but maybe that's good. Very affordable, with full kitchen, living room, deck, fireplace, and two bedrooms. There are just 3 of us, but my only concern is the distance to USAFA. deposit is 50%, but completely refundable. Lots of 5 star ratings. We enjoy the outdoors, especially the peaceful setting. I just want to make sure it fits in with our sons schedule for PW. Any thoughts? It's about an hour and 15 min drive to Co Springs. Thanks.
I thought your son suddenly grew up . . . You must be very proud! I hope to see my son in that uniform soon. Thanks for you wishes of good luck!
Too funny, thanks for putting up the link to that picture. I was LOL over here. I showed my DS and he said you better not do that, mom. I would so love to do that and he knows it.
