Hi I will be going to the Citadel next year as a Veteran Day Student, in the AFROTC program. It would be nice to get to know some people also going. Hope to see you there.

Keep me updated. I definitely hope you get accepted for NAPS. It was a hard decision for me, but what I eventually decided was that if I didn't get a pilot slot I would rather commission into the Marines. And I still have a chance at being a pilot through Annapolis. I'm not wild about the extra year, but it's worth it to achieve the dream.

I'm still not sure exactly when I arrive in Newport. All the first acceptance packet said was July. From other posts on this website I'm guessing between July 15 and July 20th or so.

Do you want to commission into the Navy or Marines? And what would be your hopeful plans after graduation?
