Hello, lpeterson15. My son is now a cadet at the US AFA. He gave up his ROTC scholarship when he received an appointment to the Academy. A general synopsis of his stats were: 3.7 GPA, state champion gymnast, varsity track and field, training officer with the Civil Air Patrol, 30 ACT, attended the Blue Ridge Governor's School (a school for the gifted in math and science), aerospace engineering for a major. His first choice school was Embry-Riddle. He was accepted and was given a generous scholarship by the school in addition to his ROTC scholarship. But his dream was the Academy. Good luck to you.
