My son has an LOA to west point and Navy and i wanted to know what the nomination process is when his congressman uses the primary process of nomination. In other words, with an LOA if he is not the primary selection but is on the top ten list, is he considered nominated by the academy?
And secondly, if he doesnt get a nomination from a local senator or congressman, does the academy find a nomination for those who have LOAs? He has applied for the VP nomination as I am sure thousands of others have.
