Hey, sorry its taken me so long to get back to ya. Every time I started to type, I had to go somewhere. Anyway, here ya go:
How I got ready: By doing what I'm going to elaborate on below XD
Seeking a nomination: This is by far the most tedious of all the things you have to do, and I haven't gotten mine yet. First, find your Senators and Congressmen. Then check their websites for "Academy Nominations" or something similar. They will give you very detailed instructions on how to do that (its different for each Senator/Congressmen).
My credentials: 3.7 unweighted GPA, I've done cross country and outdoor track all 4 years of high school (or I should) and I'm the team captain for cross country. I'm currently ranked 53 out of 625 in my class. I'm in NHS and the VP of my school's German Club. I went to the Summer Seminar too.
