I know this is a bit different than a collar bone, but our DD had major orthodontic surgery while at USAFA. Satisfied with the the work done. It may be a comfort to you to know that even though she now has several metal plates in her facial/jaw area, and around 30 screws, she just graduated...

Situation: Unattached DD - first assignment RC-135 Offutt. Sounds like she'll be there for the better part of 10 years, with somewhat frequent deployments. Question: Rent off base or buy a home? She seems pretty adamant about not living on base. Advice? Thanks!:wave:

Looks like there are 3 Cobra Balls, 2 Combat Sents and 17 Rivet Joints in inventory. Seems like the Rivet Joints pretty much have missions planned a year out.

If she were to marry, have kids, I suppose the mission of this aircraft presents no more advantages/disadvantages on family life than do other airframes/missions? Probably PCSing less often?

D/D dropped an RC-135 last night. I know the basics about the aircraft, but can anyone tell me a little bit about "the life of an RC-135 pilot", how frequently and for how long they are typically deployed, or about Offut AFB? Thank you.
