Leaving tomorrow for Parents Weekend in Charleston. We dropped off our ds back at the end of July. Looking forward to seeing him and the changes the last few months have brought.

Son is arriving july 28 for military training. We live out of state and had planned on sending him with his laptop. Does anyone know if this is a good/bad idea? I don't know if this was covered somewhere else. If it was I missed it. Thanks!!

From out of state and can't get to the cadet store to purchase these items. The cadet store did not provide much help when it came to make and model of required shoes and boots. The best info I received was Bates boots in a sand color with lug soles and Thorogood uniform shoes (not corfam)...
