My RC told me if I didn't hear back within the next two weeks, it probably isn't a good sign. Not sure if that helps or not, still pretty confused.

Thank you all for your replies. Yes, I am speaking of the Form 5-497 which is filled out by the professor of military science. It was sent out back in November and nothing has appeared yet. I just emailed my candidate technician. If they have not received it yet, I will call the admissions team...

When will the ROTC nomination appear under the portal? The form was sent out a few months ago. I know the 'due date' is January 30th, will they be processed then?

So essentially, the longer you don't hear from admissions from the 26th, the worse your chances of admission? I assume if a BFE doesn't arrive around that date, it will be national waiting list?

Am I missing something... do the thin white and big fat envelopes go out February 26th? My heart literally just started to race.

Any grad will tell you that West Point creates just as great of leaders as ROTC, OCS, etc. What it comes down to is where YOU want to attend, do not let others make the decision for you.

IMO, I doubt anyone who receives a QNS will later be asked to attend. A QNS is sort of like a denial letter I think, just phrased differently.

Time to start freaking out and stalk the mailman. We've made it this far without a QNS letter guys... good luck to you all.
