Language Validation testing My son is fluent in German so would he take this above exam and then have the option of majoring /minoring in it, or just arabic/chinese? Languages do seem to come easy for him....Thanks

Is it customary for our sons/daughters to be recognized by BGO or other Naval personnel for appointment to USNA during their HS graduation or awards ceremony? Would NAPSTERS receive the recognition as well? Just curious as to what is the norm. Thanks all.

We filled out contact info for my son but was never contacted. We then initiated contact directly with the coach and it was well received. Don't be afraid to tell them of your desire to compete, who is going tell them if you don't??

Navymom2008, They did not give me a number. I assume 5 as that would be the min. to field a team. I'm sure Coach Cantello has some influence on that number.
