White plains is the way to go. it is the largest city between NYC and West point. It has great hotels, malls, restaurants. Considering i live in Westchester county and i am very accustomed with the area, sleepy hollow is nice, but white plains is great.

So to clarify, you are allowed to bring two pairs of boots on R-Day and decline paying for the issued ones?

I purchased my boots and low quarters. I got both the bates and the Belleville. Would it make sense to bring both boots on r-day or to save a pair for the school year.

It is possible that your MOC has un-ranked nominations. If that is the case, USMA will wait until everyone has submitted their application before they begin to send out appointments. Since the application deadline is feb 29, you should hear something soon.

I got in with a 3.2 unweighted GPA in all honors classes. I believe that GPA has a very minimal effect on receiving an appointment.

You cannot bring a computer. You are issued one. Plus there will never be time for video games.

The best way to do more pull ups, is doing more pull ups. When ever you have a chance, do as many as you can. Within a couple of weeks you can double your performance. When I started I was doing 8. After buying a pull up bar and three weeks of training I can now do well over 15.
