Hello all, I recieved a letter from USNA saying that I was very close to the admission standards for weight. Im 5'8" and about 127 pounds. Enclosed in the letter was a recommended workout routine. Should I be worried about losing the appointment because of my weight?

Is it even possible to have a gun at USNA? In WI some of our public universities have armories that students can check their firearms in and out of. I ask because the Cheasepeake area has really great waterfowl hunting.

I just found out my nomination was a principle nomination and had a question. Will not having 20/20 vision (correctable 20/20) affect the medical qualification necessary to get an appointment? I was told by DoDMERB that I am medically qualified, but need a waiver for my vision. Thanks
