Should get my tickets in the mail in the next week or so I think. This will be my second year going, didn't go my son's plebe year. Taking the wife this year and it should be colder than (fill in the blank) this year in Philly.:biggrin:

Talked to my son tonight and he will have a few days free before sea trials start. I've got to work so I am going up on the 14th to spend a few days up there and be there for Herndon. Hope to see other parents there as well.

I was planning on going up to see my plebe in May when they have sea trials and Herndon. My plebe was telling me he thinks they have about a week free between the end of finals, May 8 and the beginning of Sea Trials, May 15. Can anyone confirm this, I would like to make my travel plans asap.

My son said he and the other napsters considered themselves to be super-seniors or in 13th grade. It did give him a great foundation for the academy. He said plebe summer was a breeze compaired to indoc at Naps.

My son has talked about doing this as well. Good way to get home early.

If only they got a week instead of 4 days.

Gonna be up there the weekend of the Tulsa game, my son is having shoulder surgery the Thursday before. If he is feeling up to it we will be going to the game.

Parents weekend last week at the academy. It looked great to see all the young men and women in their dress whites. 6 am PEP. Taking their oath. We went over to DC and girls kept coming over to him and asking to take their picture with him.
