    Oh, in that case there would be a slightly lower chance of getting in since fewer letters of appointment are sent out for NAPS. I would believe there is still a pretty high chance depending where you are on the list, because that extra year of work might turn people off. I am still debating on...

    Were you wait listed for USNA or NAPS? I feel you still have a strong chance of getting in since most people who get into service academies also have other great opportunities, which some do take.

    I did not get my reply until early February. You just have to be patient and realize there are thousands of teens applying and processing takes time. If your application is taking a while then chances are everybody else's is too, I would not worry about rolling admissions.

    I'm still waiting on a reply from USAFA, that is why I'm still deciding. I live in the Virgin Islands and they only let 3 people in the academy at a time. There is already two upper classmen at the academy so three islands were competing for one slot and they ended up giving it to a recruited...

    Same thing happened to me. I have wanted to go most of my life and when I finished my application I received news that all the slots were already filled for my region. I felt that all my hard work was for nothing but a couple days later an appointment to the USNA Prep School was in my mailbox...
