    HELP!! - Football tickets

Midshipman Seating at Navy Marine Memorial The Brigade stands in the seats with no backs, sections 7 and 8 on the Blue side lower level (maybe it is only section 8). If you go to NavySports.com under the Facilities tab is a kind of bad diagram of the seating, but there is a virtual tour and if...

I went to BGO training at the Academy on Saturday and that exact question was asked. The answer was...the exact value is being updated at this time, but 350,000 is still a good number.

Greystone Information I just want to answer a few specific questions about the Greystone program that were asked in this thread. In February of 2009, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and the Director of Greystone met with the Superintendent of the Coast Guard Academy and their...

    Non-Sponsored Prep

I was not at the meeting between the Coast Guard Academy and Greystone's Board of Directors Chairman and Greystone's Director, but that is their understanding.

    Non-Sponsored Prep

I thought SAG's question was about non-sponsored prep programs in which case the AOG Scholars program has nothing to do with where he or she decides to go to prep school. This year Greystone was approved by both West Point (AOG Scholarship Program) and Coast Guard as a qualified prep program...

    Non-Sponsored Prep

Greystone Prep on the campus of Schreiner University also takes non-sponsored candidates and has a very good track record getting appointments for them. They have a website and a Youtube video, you might want to check them out.

    Plan B?

Greystone Prep I do not know where your Greystone Quote comes from, but this is from the Greystone website, it does not talk about transfering courses and it expalins the other skills you will learn, that are esstential to success at a Service Academy. "...You will earn up to 36 college...

    Club Sports at Navy

My experience is a little dated, but I am pretty sure during Plebe Summer he will meet the Tennis Coach. If tennis is one of the afternoon sports opportunities he should sign up and play. Some of his Firsties will know someone on the tennis team and that may be another way to get an...

    Club Sports at Navy

Great info. During Plebe Summer the Midshipmen will get a chance to try and play many of the sports. The permit to report does allow Plebes to bring personal sports gear, like ball gloves, LaCross sticks, etc (however, I would stay away from a big bag of golf clubs or a set of tennis rackets...

    USNA I-day Countdown

Think of it in terms of days until Herndon Do not think of it as the number of days until I-Day, think of it as the number of days until the class of 2113 climbs Herdon. As of today, Monday 27 April, 2009, the class of 2013 only has 455 days until Herdon!!

Permit to report package The Permit to Report packages will all go out at the same time. Mid-May to early June is normal the last couple years. Here are the important things to do: 1. Make sure his shot record is up to date and he has multiple copies of same. 2. Get his wisdom teeth...

    Question on Appointment Acceptance Instructions

Do not worry, dential readiness is a major concern in all the services. In the Navy, at least, ships can be held back from deployment if their crews are not at a certain level of dental care. And, the Coast Guard is not going to invest a lot of money into a Cadet's education and not take...

you can't take it with you... or can you?

Plebe Summer Time Plebe summer is exactly the same except you won't have time to change or clean, unless you give up sleep. But do not worry they do schedule 6 hours of sleep more or less every night.
