    CWT/Small Unit Tactics Team

Pwcoyote, I'm a cadet here as well, and I work very closely with the combat weapons team. As far as CWT goes, they are a no-authos team, meaning you will still be required to do drill, company athletics, and other activities, and will have to practice after dinner (7:00 pm or later) one to three...

    Why test out?

Thanks! This is just what I was looking for. Validating was what I meant, the word just slipped my mind.

    Why test out?

Hi everybody, I'm an appointee to USMA 2018, and the more I've been thinking about Beast, the more I remember people talking about the academic testing that occurs during CBT. My question is why is it beneficial to take these tests and score high enough to advance to the next level? From what...

    Out of luck ?

Akrogan, my regional commander told me that 560 was the cutoff for SAT scores. Anything lower was considered "at risk." My score was stuck at a 540, so I ended up taking the test 6 times to get it up. It just takes some work. (I'm a recent appointee, and my scores are almost identical to yours)...

    Combat Weapons Team-please help

Hi everyone, I have a couple of questions about USMA's Combat Weapons team. First, a bit of background on myself: I am applying for the Class of 2018, and as far as activities germane to this team go, I am involved heavily with my school's cross country and track teams, and am very...

Thanks for the reply! I'm taking all the hard classes, but math has never been my strong point. Gotta work pretty hard in that one. Thanks again!

Hoping to go to West Point, wanted to say hi!

Hello everyone, I'm a sophomore in high school and my dream since the seventh grade has been attending the USMA. I'm involved in student council at my school, play multiple sports, and have very good grades, as well as a running track record of service in both my community, school, and church. I...
