Just got a call from MOC's office. DS has been accepted to the USNA class of 2017! BFE is on the way!:biggrin:

DS just spoke to MOC's office and was told that he is the principal nominee. Does this mean he will be receiving a BFE? I'm being cautiously optimistic.

Assuming that a MOC has at least one 3Q'd nominee, is a service academy required to offer an appointment to that nominee? Or is it possible for a slate of nominees to be submitted and an offer not be extended to a single one on that slate?

Any homeschooled applicants out there? What do you do about the English and math teacher recommendations if your mom was your English and math teacher? Should other recommendations from outside sources (Boy Scouts, Sea Cadets, etc.) Be mailed to USNA?
