Prep B.F.E. I spoke with my counselor today. She said we should be expecting to receive our B.F.E. s at the end of this month since the Academy is still busy sending out direct appointments.

Hi prep362, Thank you! I'm glad you got in. Yes, California is very competitive. My friend, who I thought for sure would get into the Naval Academy, she had a 4.3 and she was rejected.

Cadet15 and Polevault7: Thank you for the advice. I will definitely wait it out. If worse comes to worse, I could always reapply next year. I heard that after spring break, all the appointments will be sent out. Maybe it's possible I can still receive one.

reply skydivingkittens: I received it yesterday (I didn't receive any rejections but I found out over the phone; you should try to call your counselor at the academy and see if they have any news). I've found out most of my college acceptances, ect. this way.
