Accepted into School - Who to contact?

Thompson, Thank you for giving me such valuable insight. I am starting a 2 month long program I found online to help prepare for the APFT. Obviously I will have to tweak it, and will be running a lot more than that! I am NOT a natural runner by any means so I really do appreciate the...

    Awarded Scholarship ... BUT

This made me chuckle. As the previous posters said, it would be wise to accept it so as to have your Plan B in place. Congrats! Be thankful you have options. You earned the scholarship, enjoy that and hold on to it until AFROTC comes through.

I am very pleased to share that I have been accepted to my #1 School - University of Maryland. I have been given Spring Admission, but I will be able to participate in a program there called "Freshman Connection" which allows me to take my Gen. Ed. classes. (Basically, at the end of the...

    Mom of AROTC hopeful 2013

Welcome! The scholarship is NOT good for any school of his choice - if he is given a scholarship it will most likely be to ONE or two schools on his list. He has to get into the school itself separately. If he wants to transfer his scholarship to a different school, there is a process (I...

Anyone going to the movies over the Holiday? My family usually goes Christmas Day to see a movie together. Really looking forward to Les Miserables this year - I'm a long time fan of the stage show. Anyone else looking forward to seeing anything?

    Howdy :)

Hey everyone! I've been lurking for a while and sucking up all the info on these boards! I've applied for the national AROTC scholarship, and hope to join the program regardless even if I don't get a scholarship. I plan on studying Criminal Justice/ Criminology and if all goes well...

    Chances?

Well - you're heck of a lot more qualified than I am! All of your resume looks pretty solid to me man. I assume you still would want to do ROTC if you don't get a national scholarship?

    AROTC/AFROTC Interview tips?

Glad to hear things went well at your interviews! I interviewed for ARTOC back in October. I was surprised when doing research before the interview how strictly it followed the sheet. More of it is set scores than what the LTC personally thinks. It was really cool to have the opportunity...

Hello everyone, Yesterday I got accepted to one of my top choice schools - George Mason University! I am thrilled and relieved that I don't have to worry about that anymore. As I have not yet been awarded a scholarship (I applied for an AROTC scholarship), I was wondering if it would...
