ArmyDaughter, Thanks for the PM. I am unable to respond via PM because I do not have enough posts yet. However, I did want to mention that I have read elsewhere on the forum that of the 3,000 Army ROTC scholarships to be awarded this year, 2,000 of them will be 3 Year AD. I may be...

Ulysses, Thank you so much for the offer. I think my son would love to be able to talk to a current cadet at Georgetown. Unfortunately, I can not PM yet because I do not have enough posts, otherwise I would PM you his email information. Perhaps, you could PM me? Also, I would love to hear...

    October 15, 2012 AROTC Board

Status change to my son's application says he has been offered a scholarship. It does not indicate if it is a three or four year scholarship and it only lists his third choice school, which I find odd because his second choice school would be easier for him to get into.

School not listed on ROTC scholarship application?

Thanks everyone for the input. The PMS for UCONN and University of New Haven and Yale is the same person, he is the one I reached out to, but received no response. Perhaps, I will try again via phone and email. He was probably quite busy given it was the beginning of the school year...

We are also waiting anxiously for the results...no changes to my son's application status as of this morning. I know it could be a long wait if previous posts are any indications. I do have a question however, my son just received his latest SAT scores. Do you think it is a good idea to...

School not listed on ROTC scholarship application?

I don't know about Stanford, but my son was hoping to apply his potential AROTC scholarship to Yale University and it was not a listed as an option on the application. I emailed his regional representative and she said that if it was not listed, the Army has not allocated any scholarships to it...
