I agree with you on the most part, but my DS has a MALO that is not helpful and at times somewhat rude. So that makes my DS not want to contact him. Now his B&GO is very helpful.

I called my DS MOC and they said that they haven't heard anything from USNA yet, and my DS talked with his BGO and he said he hasnt had anybody from district receive appointment yet. So I guess there is still hope. We are from TX-12. As they say no news is good news, but the wait is killing us.

My DS got a competitive MOC nomination and a high school classmate got a principal from the same MOC and got a BFE. The classmate also just got a BFE from USAFA and if he accept USAFA and turn down USMA, does this mean they will pull my DS in that slot?

No code There isn't anything in front of the word "principal"...

He doesn't have a criminal record or any health issues. I don't know for sure (records are at home) but I think his ACT is 28 with math at 33 and his UWGPA is 3.65. He also passed DODMERB.

Is put on hold better than application on file? Because my DS has been on file since he got his MOC nomination.
