Gotta weigh in...At West Point or away...as long as you are active duty...best to consider food from here on out as calorie intake at best. Sometimes it's going to be great (especially if you find yourself at an air force base) or not so great (just about 6 months on mres/trats while deployed)...

Is your FFR referring to an AOG opportunity or a self prep option? My 2018 attended MMI on an AOG scholarship and his best friend was a self prep...both had a fantastic experience at MMI and both just flourished at USMA...

Best not to. You will have more than enough time... there is a method to the madness ( a reason for the process as it is part of your training) and you don't want to be that cadet who knows the answers the first day as you will stick out like a sore thumb. For my 2018 and 2019... bugle notes...

Dining facility...

2018 and 2019 were both on the boxing team. Both had wrestling backgrounds but no formal boxing experience. They both loved being part of the team. Lol... get your cardio going cause tryouts are grueling! As a bonus... they had their own tables in the DFAC LOL!

Always liked the west point motel outside of Thayer gate and the holiday Inn express in ft Montgomery. Also some great airbnb and vrbo options in the area...

How bout this... don't lean either way....listen...practice critical thinking and everything else will be cream cheese and you may learn something along the way...
