Any insight on how fighter pilots are assigned? For instance, Pilot A fills out the (wish) list with S. Korea as #1. Pilot B has zero interest in S. Korea and puts IP/UPT as #1. Pilot A is assigned to IP slot and Pilot B to S. Korea. I’m just curious how it all works…do all fighters eventually...

Just curious, and not meant to stir the pot, but is the AF paid to train the pilots from other countries, and do they take fighter slots away from USAF pilots in training?

Can anyone give advice about having a D in Calc 3? DS skipped Calc1, took Calc 2 first semester and did ok. Calc 3 has been a constant struggle. Any thoughts as to what happens if he can't pull it up? Does he retake the class? Thank you!

Does anyone know whether the portals for appointees will be updated to let cadets know if any forms are missing? DS sent everything in and filled out the on-line forms and language test, but really have no way of knowing whether it was all received.

I know the deadline to submit application items was Jan 31, but will the Academy look at any new additions to the file after that date? DS received an incredible award today and was wondering if we should send new info to admissions. Maybe they have already made their decisions?

Do most senators seem to wait until the last minute to nominate? Does anyone know the reason for this? Possibly the academies are working with them? Just curious about other opinions on this.
