Does anyone know what we do between acceptance day and the beginning of classes?

So say someone declines their appointment, does the slot have to be filled or does the academy just save it for next year? I know some people on these forums have said they were notified in May, how does this work? Just wondering because I know two people in my district just declined appointments.

I can't tell you if your chances are higher by going to a prep school vs. college or what prep school is the best. But I am going to be attending Northwestern Prep this fall and of the people that "self-prep" there, 85% get into a service academy. I doubt that those who go to civilian college...

So do you think a 32 ACT (34 English, 34 Reading, 31 SR, 29 Math) and an air force computed 3.7 gpa was qualified but not competitive? Maybe my SR and Math were my downfall. :frown:

My letter says "we will not admit you to the academy or one of our prepatory programs" would this mean I won't receive a falcon foundation scholarship either?

Falcon Foundation I'm a bit confused about the Falcon Foundation scholarships. How much are they worth? and what if i haven't applied to any of the military prep schools?
