    Any questions?

Sorry, but that one I cannot answer. I'm still a plebe so I wouldn't know about next year's courses yet. I hear they become academically tougher, but most peoples grades improve since they have more time to devote towards academics. Once again, I'm not actually sure.

    Any questions?

Its no problem at all. I'm assuming you're coming this summer? Yes you can bring your own sports equipment. You should be able to tell them its for sport and it will be allowed during the sorting process.

    Any questions?

There is boxing over the summer if you wish to validate the class. There is Boxing as a club sport I believe and Crew is Varsity. It is doable to be a multi sport athlete so Crew and Boxing is possible just difficult since you will have many other time commitments.

    Any questions?

Bandad is pretty close. Plebe swim consists of a validation test on the first day, 5 meter jump and 200 meter swim in 2:30 or less. Swim class, if you do not validate, I didn't and most don't, consists of a breaststroke test, backstroke test, 5 meter jump, 15 meter underwater swim, and the 200...

    Any questions?

If you get injured enough that you can't run, in my case a stress fracture, they do alternative workouts in the morning. Normal pep is lots of running pushups circuit type activities while swim pep is lots of pushups abs and swimming. Both are focused on cardio and strength. Everyone has to do...

    Any questions?

Plebe summer is difficult on an individual level for everyone. Run a lot before you get to the Academy that is super important. Be able to do pushups and situps, you're going to do a lot of those. I was a bad runner and ended up broken for about half of the summer so I ended up in Swim Pep...

    Any questions?

Pro Know is professional knowledge. It is a book that plebes receive and each week there is a quiz on the chapter. It is mandatory for us and the quizzes are given Friday nights in company area. It is a way for plebes to learn about different service communities, service selections, jobs, and...

    Any questions?

We love Napsters and Foundation. It is often difficult to tell who is or is not a Napster or Prep kid after Plebe year. My roommate is a Napster and it is very helpful to me and my classmates to have Prep and Naps kids here since they know the ropes a bit better than the rest of us.

    Any questions?

Time management, they purposely give you too much to do and not enough time. Its a journey to stay on top of things but sometimes prioritizing and accepting that not everything will be accomplished is a must. Its difficult to figure out should I work on my mile time for the PRT or study for a...

Time management is the hardest thing here, it's not just dealing with school work which is much harder here than high school. Find what works for you now, keeping a good journal ,a day planner, to stay organized, and learn how to prioritize assignments and duties. Its morning training school...

    Any questions?

Honestly not that much, it has pretty much died down, some of your class mates made crazy twitter posts which caused the start and then fake accounts were made which added to it. Just don't post about USNA on social media and you should be fine. Upper class do look at your FB and twitter...

    Summer Seminar

Welll I had the 3.8 gpa varsity sport girl scout church school volunteer teacher etc..and I got denied to NASS...but that means nothing. I was accepted and am currently an almost free plebe in the class of 17. So not getting into NASS no way affects getting into the Academy.

Still On The Island; Presidential Chances?

Do you defiantly have a presidential nomination? If so just play the waiting game for a little while longer. If you don't you could be sent to NAPS for a year and receive your nom through that.

    Plebe Summer

You're fairly right...but there is no free time in the afternoon on Sundays, as soon as noon hits it is like a regular M-S day. There is no access to outside media, but a newspaper is often delivered. Just exercise and do a lot of running and be prepared to be busy. Good Luck. Member of...

    Plagued with Injuries

Hey, don't fret about these small injuries. Go to physical therapy, rest up the injuries, use plenty of ice and just stretch before going to workout. I was one of those plebes on crutches this past summer, but I got injured there. As long as you don't have any serious injuries or broken bones...
