    Can it be rescinded?

I'm no expert but I don't think one bad grade will lead to your scholarship being revoked, especially if all of your other grades are good and you're still maintaining a solid GPA. Just keep fighting and work like heck to bring that grade up. If I may ask, what level of Spanish are you taking?

ROTC Schol: Waiver not completed by May 1st

Congrats to your DD!!! DoDMERB is such a grueling process and I know exactly the kind of relief you're feeling right now. I'm so glad that it worked out for you guys. I had my own problems with them but it all worked itself out in the end. God is good.

Showing up on R Day with no Appointment

There were TWE recipients who showed up to I-Day when my dad reported to the Naval Academy in 1982. Some got lucky while most others were turned away. However, he's a former B&G Officer and said that such an attempt (at any of the academies) would be futile. I don't think it's possible in this...

    Required High School Classes

That is correct. IcedZealot, you need to take two years of the SAME foreign language. You can't mix and match. For example, taking one year of German and one year of Spanish does not meet WP's high school foreign language requirements. As for Chemistry and Physics, I would take both of those...

    AROTC Color Vision Deficiency

I could easily do that. What I was getting at with the whole driving this is that I can clearly tell when the traffic light is green and when it is red. Sorry, it's late and my posts may lack sense

    AROTC Color Vision Deficiency

I never knew they could've administered the vivid red/green test immediately after the PIP! This is news to me. I am fully confident in my ability to pass the vivid test. My color vision deficiency does not affect my driving or any other everyday task.

    AROTC Color Vision Deficiency

My username is such because my father graduated from USNA in '86 and was #44 on the football team. HUGE Navy Midshipmen fan here. But, I digress. My optometrist didn't administer a vivid red/green test after I failed the PIP test. Will AROTC request that I take the vivid red/green since I...

    AROTC Color Vision Deficiency

I received my medical disqualification notification from DoDMERB today (as expected) because I completely failed the PIP Test, going 0/14. For what it's worth I went 14/14 with a red lens. I know AROTC programs grant waivers for red/green deficiencies, but does anyone know how often they are...

    Scholarship Title History Question

Junior ROTC is sponsored at the high school level so there is no such thing as a Junior ROTC scholarship, as high school students do not need to pay to go through the program. The term 'Senior' is used to distinguish college-level ROTC from JROTC.

    AROTC March Board Released

I just checked my AROTC portal and my status says, "Winner"! However, I am a bit confused. At the bottom of the page, three schools are listed (Tarleton State, VMI, and Wyoming in that order). Next to each of them, under the status bar, it says "Pending Acceptance". What does that mean? Pending...
