    AROTC Class of 2014 Branching

I agree my pms said not to expect any number to be released this year. Cause the way people got Ad or not made so sense considering done people got it with lower oms scores than others who had higher oms scores. He said if they released there methodology it would cause a lot of complaints

    AROTC Class of 2014 Branching

This accesions cohort is ridiculous. Cutoff was higher than 80 cause that's what I had and got rfd. We had a cadet in the 85-86 range not get AD. This cadet was not grfd or anything like that, plus cadet had a decent pms evaluation. What was also weird was there was a cadet with a 81 in my class...

Will BOLC start date affect civilian employment?

Recently I got a great civilian job offer/conditionally accepted in the event I dont get AD. As of now I'm waiting for background/drug test to get processed to make it offical. However I am to leave for BOLC just a month after my start date for my civilian job. Am I protetced under federal law...

What are the steps if choosing Reserves? How pick Unit?

Getting a reserve unit slot is easy. When the time comes, go to your HRA get the printout of vaccanies in your branch available and email the apprpriate accesions person. I'm on the boderline of getting AD, so I went ahead and secured a reserve spot. Emailed them on sunday, got a reserve slot...

    Adjustments to Accessions Points?

It still makes no sense to me. I they wanted to max out OMS points at 100 instead of 101.5, why not just subtract 1.5 points from everyone, rather than 10?.

    Adjustments to Accessions Points?

Ouch to the person who went from a 83 to 73. That would put them below the ad selection last year. I wonder if the total oml points available went from a 101.5 to a new number? Or maybe it was just a glitch. I'll see what my score is tommorow, cause I was one of those guys who my be said was on...

    Branching, OML, OMS

Does anyone have the fiscal year 2013 accesions powerpoint on them? Ithink it would be nice to know for sure if 75.15 was the AD Cutoff for last year. Also more importantly, I would like to know how many OMS points cadets in the 50% of the AD OML had last year. That would be a good indicator of...

    Branching, OML, OMS

hahaha that's a good idea. When I was at LDAC a lot of people in my platoon wanted to go reserves/NG (about 50%). Even cadet's from VMI and the Citadel were opting to not go active. It's shocking to hear that the cutoff could go to 80 or more, like some people are speculating. I was looking at...

    Branching, OML, OMS

They said they think I will barely scrape by, as in being in the bottom of oml. However they said that it is hard to predict numbers cause of the major changes. They basically said it could be high 70s to mid eighties .

    Branching, OML, OMS

Found out today I got a OMS score of 79.something. Does Anyone have FY 13 OML results on them? I think last years number was 75-76. I don't know if the AD cutoff will be a lot higher (80 or more) cause if I'm not mistaken, the number of AD LT slots are not that much lower this year compared to...

    Changing Ldac n to s???

Are there any Ldac tacs on here who have cadet command policies on mitigation of overall ldac scores. When I was at Ldac I messed up day land nav and was given an overall n because of this. However my Ldac tac said if I pass it back on campus my overll n would be mitigated to an S provided my...

FY 14 accessions brief PowerPoint given at Ldac?

I think however the ADSO/AD deal kick's in when the cadet would have to ADSO to get that branch cause they are below the AD line. However if a cadet does make the active duty cutoff, but have the special degree they will get the branch if they make it number their 1 choice. There not charged...

FY 14 accessions brief PowerPoint given at Ldac?

I also saw business degrees being mentioned under ordnance corps. However when I looked closer, it seemed like there was a distinction between the business degree, cause it was highlighted in blue and didn't say anything about AD being guaranteed with a 2.75/ADSO/make branch preference first...

FY 14 accessions brief PowerPoint given at Ldac?

I was in 10th regiment and they talked about certain set of degrees for each of the special branch program branches that would guarantee AD provided a cadet makes it there number 1, adso's for it, and has a 2.75/appropriate degree. However what confuses me is that it seems like only STEM...

Found FY 14 Accesions Brief given at LDAC

Found the FY 14 accesions, https://www.google.com/#q=FY+14+ACCESIONS+BRIEF+AROTC I kind of suprised about the Special Branch Program. Seems like it's only offering AD to STEM majors. From what I was told at LDAC by the accesions tent cadre, was that business majors could get Active Duty...

Army ROTC Cadets what is your major?

So today at my BN, everyone kept talking about this 2.75 ADSO program, and alot of cadets kept complaining this will drive up the AD OML cutoff. However I suspect that this may not be the case, because alot of ROTC cadets tend to be liberal arts majors or Criminal Justice from what I noticed...
