    USMA Head coach change??

Don't think so. What brings someone to a SA, what keeps them there, and their motivation upon graduation are three separate entities. A disproportionally high percentage of USNA IC athletes opt for SEALS, EOD, USMC, and Aviation. The football team and USMC especially. I doubt if this was...

    USMA Head coach change??

+1 The option is the great equalizer. It is interesting to watch opponents who play Navy the second and third times slowly adapt with both the discipline and techniques necessary to stop it. There seem to be more and more teams who cannot compete for top notch players going to it. Tune in...

    USMA Head coach change??

He turned Army down the last time, five years ago, when they were looking. Hopefully, they won't ask again.

    Go NAVY, Beat ARMY

Where are you guys getting this? Check the records. I cannot post links due to my few posts, but the Army athletic website has records for the past 10 years and NOT IN ANY YEAR has Army overall won more games than Navy. The Navy website doesn't list specific years but shows Navy with an...

AF Wants some 5 Year Sports Graduates - Stupid

Recently, this entire century, the past 14 years, 2000 and beyond, Navy has won more games than AF. Maybe this trend is Coach Calhoun's concern.

    AFA Informant Program

So, since there are isolated examples where the system has failed, are you suggesting that we completely abandon teaching it? If not, are you suggesting that we not teach it in the most effective manner possible? Or are you simply suggesting that a spy in one's midst does not detract from the...

    AFA Informant Program

^^^^^^^ I think they are still missing the point. The military's mission depends on trust and teamwork. Perhaps not blind trust, but the benefit of the doubt, at least, until proven otherwise. The road to understanding these two traits begins the first summer at all the service academies...

Google deadspin for the sports perspective. I cannot post a direct link since I have less than 10 posts.

    Close the SA's

The Chesapeake is ideal because it is large enough for the YPs to perform all their maneuvering drills while this is not true for the Hudson. As to the general discussion, note that throughout the thread ROTC graduates are continuously being compared to those from USNA. Hence one of the...

    Mysteriously worded waiver letter?

My understanding is that Admissions does not initiate the medical waiver process until they are prepared to offer an appointment. It would be a waste of effort of the medical staff otherwise.
