Very very impressive. No wonder why you got a LOA. Not so easy for me, still trying to bring those grades up and I'm hoping for some outstanding tests scores (I'm planning on getting a tutor) Congrats on the LOA and be sure to get that nomination :thumb::thumb:

    Whats more important?

I see. I am in a tight spot with freshman year (you saw in my last thread) and Im hurrying to up my GPA to its max. I did some calculations and it doesn't look to good. Basically if I get 4.0's (unlikely as course load becomes heavier with APs) from soph to senior i will only end up with a 3.69...

    Whats more important?

Overall GPA or standardized test scores (ACT, SAT) in the USNA admissions process? More specifically what do they want more, a fairly high GPA and phenomenal test scores or a high GPA and average test scores? Im in the position where Im most likely going to end up with a 3.6 overall GPA. I just...

Advice for a future applicant to USNA

Thanks for the advice. Im going to make this coming summer very productive. I'm definitely going to try and squeeze in a lot of volunteer hours and get more into shape. Advice for a future applicant to USNA

It seems it is only available for students who have finished junior year in high school. But i'll definitely apply junior year. I forgot to mention in my post that I recently took the PSAT and struggled greatly on the math section. I am fairly strong in math and it seems that the reason i found...
