DD found out that she will, most likely & in all probability, be assigned to her Dad's squadron: Cadet Sq. 18, The Nightriders, aka Horney18 Yeah, sounds like they got away with something. The mascot is a unicorn.

I have a question that I hope someone can answer. My DD friend's best friend was awarded the NROTC scholarship to MIT. She hasn't yet been accepted to that school. Now that she has a full scholarship, does MIT automatically accept her? Are her chances for acceptance increased or is it not taken...
