your first year at the academy you can have a girlfriend if she doesnt go to the academy. You can date some in your class. After recognition you can date upperclassmen.

west point has spent alot of money on you. They would not kick you out for being overweight. stop worrying.

I would say enlist and do basic during the summer. then go to school in the fall and do NROTC. This is better because now you have two more ways of getting a nomination.

In the army anybody that is does not pass height and weight will then have their body fat measured. If you are over the body fat limit than you are overweight. I'm pretty sure that the extra weight you carry is muscle no need to try and starve yourself.
