It's because mail from academy doesn't reach people until Wednesday-Saturday, it's going to go up alot today or tomorrow

I would wait until you hear back from this year. I submitted my preliminary on April 1st but I had already received the TWE, you won't end up getting your candidate numbers until around beginning of June, so in reality, it doesn't matter if you do it on the first day.
