I only scored 17 pushups and had a 31 ft. basketball throw and was 3Q'd, so you still have a chance I think. Although I had 90 sit-ups and 2 pull-ups, so I think that might have "evened" it out a bit.

What does this mean for those on the NWL? Have offers already been sent out to the 150 off of the NWL? I haven't heard of anyone with a Presidential Nomination obtaining an appointment yet. This statement confuses me a bit on the aspect that they said they're mailing out appointments weekly once...

Hi all, So I have a day visit to USMA scheduled for this Tuesday and was wondering if anyone had any tips or useful info to make a good impression. It's only a day visit being that I haven't received an LOE or LOA, but I'm hoping that I'll have a better understanding of where my file stacks...

Most of the appointments will be tendered after the 26th, but I've read in some of the previous threads that there was supposedly another small wave of appointments coming out this week. Either way you should be hearing something fairly soon, so continue to try to be patient! Best of luck!

I would still highly recommend taking a science class. WP is a math and science oriented school and they pay a lot of attention to those grades and classes. I would recommend taking Physics (if you haven't already), and not AP if you think you'll receive a C or lower. I'm also like you and tend...

Yeah I got that a couple of weeks ago. It's WP telling you that you're fully qualified (3Q'd) and that you're now on the NWL. Welcome to the waiting game!

I would wait until Monday or Tuesday and then call. I know some MOC's said they won't announce their noms until the 2nd week in Feb....yeah how crazy is that!? But since you've already gotten the call, just contact their office and ask them when you'll receive your official letter.

If you only got a call from your senator then I suggest you wait a couple more days for an official letter. In a lot of cases the MOC will call to tell you the good news and then a letter will come in the mail from their office confirming it a few days after the call. If you don't want to wait...

I believe it was about 10 days after I had everything turned in, but I'm sure its different for everyone. Just hang in there and wait it out, thats all you can do!

No. I got my qualification letter well before I uploaded my transcript, but you MUST submit your transcript to have your file completed. So you might as well submit your transcript now because all it can do is help you get one more step closer to receiving an appointment.

Well then you're in a very good boat! The letter you'll get from WP that says your qualified should show up in you portal under the official correspondence and have the title "Candidate File Qualified". If you haven't gotten it yet then you should get it soon unless there's some minor detail...

Field Force Rep., there's an acronym list on one of the threads that you can look at if you ever get confused!

Principle nom + 3Q'd means that WP MUST (required by law) give you an appointment. Maybe your liaison officer meant to say that you must also be fully qualified in order to receive an appointment. So if you're qualified and you have a principle nom then you're in!! Congrats!

I would email WP asap and let them know because the application instruction manual on the portal states that if your current transcripts aren't in by the 28th, then your application could be closed. I'm sure they'll understand if the whole state is having this delay!
