If you look good in the eyes of your Commander, meaning you have solid PFA, AFOQT, relative ranking and so on, you have a solid chance of getting picked up if the rate stays the same. That's the million dollar question though, will the rate the same.

I think the Det/CCs have done most of the cutting. I'd be interested to see the numbers and averages, but it seems like they're on the binge part of the cycle. The waivers getting pushed through was a big indicator. Just hope the posture stays.

Yeah, but I would get everything (and somethings earlier no matter what) for the bag drag ASAP after finding out you got a slot. Also, especially you akrogan, talk to POC at your Det for tips on what to pack (all-in-one body and hair wash, electric razor, certain padlocks, etc.).

That's kind of what I guessed, I assumed they were worried about it being an inadvertent integrity issue. I would feel bad though if the Air Force saw it as an issue, so much time and effort for a few second error.

Some rumors of bases being released today.

Yeah, I just would like one of them. I was originally given 38P but was given 64P. Both have similar bases. And the list is huge for this AFSC. I'm hoping for the best but expecting the worst location.

I got 64P. And I agree, if our AFSCs were a bit late, we may be waiting well into January for bases. Mine are as follows: Lakenheath, Aviano, Hickam, Peterson, Elmendorf, and Randolph. Hoping for any one of them.
