DS will grad/ commission in May. He has a pilot slot. Would like to get him a few memorable things. We did reserve a flag to be flown over capital on that day.
If anyone has any good ideas please let me know.
UPDATE...as of yesterday he accepted PILOT. He spoke to lots of folks and made the best decision he could in little time. He is not interested at this time in flying commercially but very interested in finding some balance with his engineering degree after. He was also told he may be able to...
DS will commission in May -all set for RPA. He was just offered a pilot slot-needs to decide by Friday. Can anyone offer some advice or questions for him to ask himself? His degree is Mech Engineering and always felt that with his RPA experience will do well for him. Now he is conflicted
DS just got word from AFROTC he received RPA. he had surgery for torn shoulder labrum over Christmas break. He is making full recovery with therapy. Will commission in May 19. Will this have any outcome on his future?
Thanks everyone with info-he saw MD today and MRI -artho tom-so needless to say surgery looks necessary-can anyone speak to Air Force DQ on this if he makes full recovery? Comission is sched for may 2019
Son in 4th of 5 years AFROTC was at PT yesterday and suffered a shoulder dislocation. Was reduced at local ER. Any advice for approaching this in future? I see it is a big source of DQ. He has never had any prior issues at all. Any advice will help.
AS300 had rough semester--GPA 2.2-on scholarship-mechanical engineering--what will happen when he returns? 1 D, 1 F and rest grades A's and B's. Will retake one class this summer
I am not sure why but they are giving him 2 1/2 weeks to nail the sit ups. I think he realizes how important this is now. It will be great stress relief during finals to do more workouts. Thanks all for the advice
Terrible news from AFROTC son in engineering-missed 2nd PFA by 3 sits ups. He has Type 7 and not sure what happens next. He was only told to wait for email and sched appt. Does this mean his scholarship is lost? After 2 failed how will this be viewed? A worried mom needs some help here.
My son just received AFROTC scholarship. He has been treated for 3-4 years for acne. Uses topical Tretin X and has been treated at times with minocycline for flare ups. He does not have scars or does not have severe chest or back acne. Will this be an issue?
