    Waiver for Anemia

I mean if they request it, I'm not sure if just sending a random blood sample will help. Even if her blood is fine now, when it was tested it would have been low, and that shows fluctuation and not stability. You can always call and ask once you get the results, to see if there is anything you...

    Waiver for Anemia

They go with whatever the count was when they drew blood for remedials. Mine was in 2009, and I had a blood transfusion, then iron pills for a year. After that my levels skyrocketed to 11.5. I was initially DQd, then got a waiver for it. That was back in 2013. So I'm not sure how they are going...

    Waiver after Exam Expired

Hello, My ROTC DoDMerb expired last month, and I am in the process of getting my exam done again. I had to get a remedial last time, and got a waiver, how likely is it that I will be given that waiver again? Since nothing has changed since then.

    Items to bring

At our det, our freshmen wear det polos, they wear the white V-neck under those, and then when you get blues, you wear them under the shirts. They are mandatory for everyone. For females, the male V Necks work fine. Just get the plain ones from hanes or fruit of the loom.

Is it too late for me to join AFROTC?

I wouldn't do more than 12-13 credits. being a 250 is hard work, you're doing two years of learning in one. If your GPA is good, just do 12 or so. You need to be able to get some facetime in at the Det. And volunteer for EVERYTHING that you can. You have to make sure the commander and POC take...

Is it too late for me to join AFROTC?

That is true. I did the 100 route, mostly because I am doing a dual program, so even if I didn't get an EA, I was still going for my masters. I just know that of the many 250's we had, only one made it through, and he ended up getting the boot from FT. But if OP has the grades and the drive...

    Repeating a class

Anyone else have insight on this?

Is it too late for me to join AFROTC?

He's EE planning on taking 17 credits though, the 250 route will be really hard and difficult, especially since OP may not have time to participate as fully as needed with that kind of course load.

Is it too late for me to join AFROTC?

Well 1st things first you need to decide what route you're going. Figure out who to contact on Monday, and then email/call them, whichever the secretary suggest you do. Once you do that, it's a fairly simple process.

Is it too late for me to join AFROTC?

And going in as a 250 is twice as much work. You have to go to everything that you can sot hat the commanders can see you. Learn what kind of cadet and person you are. As a 250, you go up for FT selection with the 200's they've had two years to work hard and show what they are capable of. I say...

Is it too late for me to join AFROTC?

Well ROTC is pretty time consuming. There's practices and a lot of studying involved, taking 17 credit hours is a huge load. If you didn't mind pushing your grad date back a year, that might be best. You can free up time to focus on ROTC, and also not hurt your GPA trying to do an tech major at...

Is it too late for me to join AFROTC?

Actually, you can prob walk on a little late, depending on where you go. Contact your det now, as most schools have a New Cadet orinetation the first week before classes start. You may be attending a crosstown school, which means you will be travelling to your host AFROTC school for classes. As...

Joining AFROTC as a Sophomore: Needs Advice

Hello, just some advice: First, work on running, push-ups, and sit-ups. Also do a lot of cardio. Work on getting your body into the best shape possible. Since you'll be going in as a 250, you won't have as much time to get ready as everyone else does. I wouldn't bother retaking the ACT, you...

    Repeating a class

They average the grades out. The new grade will count at my school, but my rotc gpa will be different, correct?

    Repeating a class

I have a question regarding repeat classes, I've asked a few people at my det, but I got a few different answers. If I repeat a class, am I still considered full-time? Or do I have to take 12 additional credits, along with the repeat class? I've been told a few different things. Has anyone had...

Is it too late for me to join AFROTC?

PIMA Everyone has to retake the PFA within the det at the scheduled time. Our date usually does it in October. The practice PFA during the first week doesn't count for anyone. If you fail it, it doesn't hurt you, it just shows the areas you need to work on. Those scores cannot be used to...

Is it too late for me to join AFROTC?

PIMA: The one in the first week is a practice PFA: They want to guage where cadets are at and see what needs to be worked on. There are a certain number of PT sessions you have to do in order for the det to adminster a real PFA. Scholarship cadets take them to qualify for the scholarship, but...

AFROTC - Official Transcripts from all prior/current universities

OP may not be able to take the AFOQT this semester, since his cGPA won't be above a 2.5. If OP can extend his degree out an extra semester, then doing the 100 route would be an option. I went through the same thing, I was a 250 fall of 2013, decided to go the 100 route and extended out my degree...

AFROTC - Official Transcripts from all prior/current universities

My advice, and I went through the exact same thing, take easy classes in the Fall. You also may not be able to take the AFOQT after they calculate your cGPA. If your cGPA is below a 2.5, they don't let you take it. I would suggest, if possible, doing the 100 route. It'll give you a lot more...
