    My son will be in the same situation soon case they anticipate DQ to vision. so let me clarify something. You didnt have the Farnsworth Lantern test done. instead you went and got another PIP test done and also had a D15 test done which they then accepted for waiver?

    Yes my son is NROTC. How rough? I know there are issues if he were to want to be a pilot. But that isn't the case at all. He was awarded a Tier 3. So what are the chances on waiver? Will they make him take the Falant test?

    My son recently went for his physical last week and it went pretty fast as well. He identified a history of shell fish allergies and the doctor simply asked him what type of reaction he had and how did he know he had such an allergy. Qhen checking status it states under DoDMERB review.

    My son was also awarded a 4yr NROTC scholarship to the University of New Mexico. I have heard that some colleges and/universities offer free or discount housing. Does anyone know if UNM offers free/discount housing?

    Would anyone happen to know if the NROTC makes a good effort to make presentations at high school award ceremonies or does it require a request from a representative?
