I think that they put priority for those that are not shoo-ins, so maybe not hearing back about the interview is a good thing, as it was for your son.

I agree, its pretty late in the application process, and I suspect they have already made quite a few decisions for RA despite not letting applicants know, and doing an interview would likely make them hold off on their decision, essentially pushing my application to the bottom of the pile.

Keep in mind that you are only really seeing the ones that are loud, and gung-ho because they are the ones putting themselves out there, they need the attention. Little do you know there are probably 1/4 of the cadets that are like you and just want to do their job...quietly and humbly.

That's interesting. I got my dodmerb stuff in the mail about 2 weeks ago, and completed both parts of the dodmerb 1 week ago, and my *for review* part of the application has not been checked off yet. Anyone else like that?
