got accepted to the prep school! i feel so lost now....i stopped coming on this website when i got the decline from the academy. i know i report july 15th but i really don't know much other than that except for that it's on the same campus as the academy. what's the schedule at the prep...

ok so for those of you who didn't receive an appointment last year and reapplied this year..what did you during that year? How did you go about making your application better? And what's the acceptance rate usually for 2nd time applicants? As of right now I'm planning on going to ASU and...

This makes me want to go home and check my mailbox! Since the thin white envelope I haven't gone to my house to check for anything. I'm probably just getting my hopes up but who knows!

Wait so are people getting into the prep school or whatever the falcon foundation scholarship AFTER getting their thin white envelop from USAFA?

trust me I know..afa is waaayy better. ASU was my fall back I got into the engineering school- aerospace engineering They have a AFROTC too.

That's how I felt last week when I called and she said my app was still there and no letter or anything had been mailed out. I had to get medically qualified too because of my acl repair surgery. Then I got the thin white letter Monday. Maybe you guys will be more lucky.

thanks man...i dont even know if i was 3 Q tho? all it said was that unfortunately they wouldn't be able to offer me an appointment this year and that my application was reviewed in-depth.

Ya that's what my brother said...i really want to go to the academy tho. ASU USC and USAFA were the only 3 places i applied...i guess i just had my hopes to high haha

Hopefully.. As of right now I'm planning on going to ASU and doing AFROTC..then applying next year.

Nevermind...I came home and got the thin white letter... I also got my rejection letter from USC this morning.. Oh well. Congrats class of 13

I'm pretty much ready for a rejection letter. ya i'll apply again next year, but for this year coming up i'm just gonna go to Arizona State University and have a some fun. Not too much obviously, I'm gonna join the AFROTC there, but i'll be with some friends from school. Another good thing...

Well I called USAFA today and the lady told me that I app had be reviewed already and that nothing has been mailed out yet? She also said that the board has at least 2 more Tuesdays that they will be meeting. So is this good? Good in the fact that my application is still there..I'm guessing...

I'm alright..just waiting still. If I don't get in I'll apply again next year. I'm still waiting to hear back from USC as well, that's my 2nd choice and ASU is my 3rd choice after that. ASU accepted me early december and I have a good about of friends going there too. And they have an AFROTC, so...
