To echo what NavyHoops said, I go over to my sponsors because it is a relaxing atmosphere. Over there my grades and other academy BS doesn't matter. If my sponsors started setting GPA limits to coming over on the weekend, I would simply stop going over.

According to Mids, 30+ people are no longer part of 2020. That also included no shows and those that didn't take the oath, but according to detailers less than 10 people did that. Your source may be talking about plebes in Tango, but Mids is the most accurate place to look.

You completely missed the whole point of my post. Mids are not children, monks, or prisoners. We should not be treated as such. Regardless, your condescending attitude is really irritating.

Who would sign up for that? This isn't supposed to be prison or a monastery. We aren't going to the academy to be monks. Like it or not, the Academies are still collages. Mids are still going to drink, legal or not.

This is one of the stupidest ideas I have ever seen. The fact that most mids are under 21 doesn't keep them from drinking, why would you think another rule would?

Last year, mids were required to get a passport, I assume that will continue in the future. For what it's worth, both times I have traveled overseas for summer training, we did it on the blue (non official) passport.

This information is absolutely not true. Tango does not open for the first ~2 weeks of plebe summer. Candidates and than plebes who want to DOR are processed out without going to Tango. This year there were an abnormally high number of plebes who left on IDay, but I do not know specifically how...

NWU's are only for severe weather days or those standing ATFP watches. Only working blues or better are authorized for class.
