My son received and accepted his four year NROTC scholarship in November and passed the Dodmerb in December. He has been accepted to his first choice school where the scholarship was placed. When does the Navy notify the university of the scholarship? We are receiving financial aid information...

I have not been able to find the orthodontic questionnaire. My DD would like to take it already signed to the exam. Would you be able to point me in the right direction to find it?

I scheduled my eye exam but it is almost 6 weeks out. Paperwork says to complete that first. Do I have to have that done before medical exam? I will not finish within the 6 week time frame.

Would you mind sharing what that selective school was here, or in a private message?

My son submitted all of his paperwork in August and September. He had his interview on September 22nd and received notification that he received a scholarship on Wednesday.

My son received a four year scholarship from his first choice school yesterday!!

My son just heard from both Navy and Army today. Received four year awards from both. Top school from the Navy and top three from the Army. Not a bad day!

My son has just received some emails from schools on his AROTC college list. I am hoping this means some things are "shaking loose" as they say.

My son met with the ROO's at his top choice schools before the application process started. We toured all the schools and made sure he would be happy with anything on his list. ROO's were very helpful, but I was surprised when they said how few people contact them before the process starts.

Is it typical to receive emails from schools on your list?

Thanks everyone. My son is drinking protein shakes but will add in the Ensure as well. What about the body fat issue? That will be low as well. I understand the NROTC does not have a weight requirement is that accurate? Congrats to USNAco2019hopeful!

Will being about 5 pounds underweight disqualify me from AROTC?
