    AFROTC 2015 Enrollment Allocations

The way they choose what to use for your OM score is they take your SAT-E. The three scores that can be used for the SAT-E are the SAT, the ACT, or the AFOQT Academic Aptitude section. To determine which of those three are used, they are placed side-by-side on this chart from AFROTCI 36-2011...

    AFROTC 2015 Enrollment Allocations

I know we have a cadet who spent 1 year as a GMC, and 1.5 as a POC. They're prior-enlisted and on some special program from the Air Force that I don't know too much about though, so I couldn't offer any more insight into that.

    AFROTC 2015 Enrollment Allocations

The reason my GPA was so low is because for the first year I was sitting in major that was killing my GPA, but I was too stubborn to switch majors until Fall of last semester. However, as of now I've made one full 4.0 term in my new major and tacked on a couple more 4.0s from our half-semester...

    AFROTC 2015 Enrollment Allocations

    I received a slot, here's the stats I had: AS-200 Non-tech/Non-rated GPA - 2.91 CC Rank - Unknown PFA - 94.7 AFOQT - Pilot(65), Nav.(47), Ac. Ap.(79), Verbal(83), Quant.(68)

    AFOQT Help!!

We were also informed we had to take it and pass before being able to attend FT. I'm not sure if this is a nation-wide thing or not but that's what our cadre told us. We have a few cadets having to retake it as well, so they'll be doing that I believe in a few months. The literal wording was...

    AFROTC 2015 Enrollment Allocations

Did you guys who have already found out get specific info regarding non-tech/non-rated, tech, and rated selection rates by chance?

    AFROTC 2015 Enrollment Allocations

Kinda sad I'm out of town since they dropped for us too and I'll be out of town so won't be able to find out until Monday. No word on percentages though, just told to sign up to meet with our commander

    AFROTC 2015 Enrollment Allocations

I was told by our cadre that they are adding 100 more EA slots to be filled. Whether that's a firm number, or bare minimum, I don't know, but that's what we were told. So we could be expecting around 1700 if my cadre's statement holds true, but I would hope it would be quite a bit higher. I can...

"FORCASTING" INFORMATION ON FIELD TRAINING SELECTIONS

The only thing we've been told is to expect higher numbers for non-tech non-rated than last year's. We also just got asked our Max dates, so there's that as well. Don't know how early 200s/250s/500s last year got asked though so it might not mean much at all.

"FORCASTING" INFORMATION ON FIELD TRAINING SELECTIONS

Just to back up what others were saying, my Det was also told March 20th. But we were also told it's an optimistic time and to expect delays.

    Air Force ROTC Commissioning Options

I was meaning to say that if a cadet who (either voluntarily or involuntarily) does not accept the rated position even though they were selected for a rated EA slot, then they're put up against that board if there's an available non-rated slot for them to take. Otherwise they're disenrolled...

    Air Force ROTC Commissioning Options

It seems like it hasn't changed much this year assuming there actually being an available non-ea slot for the prospective nonrated cadet to get. If there isn't then the cadet is investigated for disenrollment. That's how our cadre have explained it to us this year, anyway. As for 2016's walk...

    AFOQT Scores

Pima: The minimum for quantitative is 10, but I do see what you're saying. I'd also be interested in seeing what the failure rates were for previous years as well, Ahab.

    AFOQT Scores

Oh I see what you mean. Then nationally, yes it appears our detachment scored lower nationally than they did in previous years. Judging from the stat that Arab posted though, it looks to be a more common occurrence in multiple detachments this year is what I was trying to get at though.

    AFOQT Scores

As far as I know it's possible to fail in multiple categories due to multiple minimum requirements. The lowest threshold percentage would be 15% and the max would be 25%. In the 15% case, all those who failed their verbal also failed their quantitative. In the 25% case, the 15% who failed their...

    DoDMERB Remedial Question

Thanks for the reply Pima! I think I was more worried about a separate issue popping up (my eyesight in particular, since I have Amblyopia), but it didn't show up at all when they requested remedials. I just found that somewhat odd and was worried if they would just DQ me for that even after I...

    DoDMERB Remedial Question

So I received a remedial status for a scoliosis study which I'll be going to this week. I'm not too concerned with this remedial as I've never had any problems with spine curvature in the past (and the physicians said they thought it was very minor as well). However, I'm more concerned with the...

    AFOQT Scores

Just wanted to shed some light, but AFOQT scores seemed pretty awful overall this year. I talked to some of the past-C200s, now-POCs, and their scores seemed on average significantly higher than this past semester's. We're not off winter break yet so I don't have an overall picture of the most...

AFROTC EA Selection Results Release Date

I don't believe nominations have even went in yet so it's hard to tell what it will look like. So far all we've been told is that anything could happen given the fluctuation over the years.
