Does anybody know about the NROTC unit at Northwestern? Its reputation, strength of unit, how active it is, etc. I will definitely visit before I attend, but I didn't know if there was any info that I could get ahead of time. Thanks!

Secondary Question... What are some of people's backup schools? I really want to get into an academy and I just can't see myself going anywhere else. I will apply to several other colleges just in case but I don't know what I will do if I do not get in....ROTC is always an option but...

Geez....everyone is so involved in clubs. I am definitely not as involved with things like that. I'm in student council and 4-H, but no sports (I ride horses through 4-H and competitively).... You guys all make me sound super unqualified

I know that there are several disqualifications for having bad eyesight. My eyes are -5.00 and corrected to 20/20. Is there anything I should be worried about? Will I need a waiver for this? :confused:

I'm glad you see what I mean. I hope that my application can stand out to possibly get that nomination. I don't know if wanting to go to USNA in Colorado or being female will help at all...(hopefully it does) but probably not. There will always be that exceptional candidate
