    SAT Math 590 CR 630 ACT M 24 4.3 GPA with Honors and AP Classes Varsity Football, Varsity Lax (team captain 2 years) and just added Varsity Swim this year. Various clubs and community service. I took it as a good sign that the admission's counselor reached out, but who knows. NROTC...

    DS received email from Admission's counselor to ask if he was going to take the next SAT or ACT. He scores were ok but not great...after a few emails back and forth he will take the ACT on Feb 6th and they will still look at his new scores.

    Our DS went last January as a Junior. It sealed his decision. I remember on the way home I asked: How did it go? His response was: Mom, You know how I really want to go to the USNA...well I really want to attend now! His determination and drive hit full speed ahead!

    Question: My DS had his interview with Senator Mikulski in mid November. He has not heard anything and can not see anything on a portal than that the applications are closed at this time. Do we assume he has not received the nomination?

    USNA interview with Blue Gold Officer

    Our DS met his BGO at the guidance office of his HS. He came home to dress up and then went to football practice. Both DH and myself have not met or spoken to the BGO. Should I be worried?

    On Tuesday, DS had his BGO interview. Almost done with Noms and preparing to take the ACT in a couple of weeks. Now on to Plan B and C, D etc. I can't thank everyone on this forum enough for their knowledge and support.

    Member LG, thank you and yes you are correct would have graduated in 95. He did have a younger brother and it's nice to know he continued the legacy. Thank you for your response. He was a wonderful guy, always a smile and kind word even back in HS. I just remember being in awe of his drive...
