    Advice

Hey guys, I have NO clue where to post this, but I figured I would start here. I apologize if this is in the wrong section. You see, I am looking at a Career in Intelligence or the DoD, considering that medical reasons prevent a career in the Military. I just want to know your thoughts on...

    Fighting a Medical Disqualification

I'd say what you're doing is the best course of action. You are wise to wait for Mr. Mullen. Anybody besides KP2001 and Mr. Mullen, probably cannot give a good explanation.

Larry Mullen's Persistence and Extroardinary Efforts

He truly is a great man, I respect him more now than I did back in March. He doesn't try, He DOES work to help your case. Sometimes, everything is exhausted, and you must look elsewhere, but Lord, does Mr. Mullen give his best for each and every Candidate. Great Thread:thumb:

    Soldiers vs. Civilians

Hey, I wanted to get some good opinions, and first hand knowledge. I have seen things where many Soldiers and members of the Armed forces look down on regular civilians. Some are viewed as lazy slobs. I don't mean to start anything bad, but this worries me greatly. I tried to get into...

Waiver Denied - Any Further Action Possible?

Oh heck yes, it is good for the actual candidate to do the talking! I did that.......just make sure you are pleasant, and not obstinate, stubborn....or obsessive. Learning experience right here.

Confusion of why my disqualification isn't repealed?

Have you spoken with Mr. Mullen? If you need a waiver, you need a waiver. Any Dq requires a waiver. You are corrected to 20/20......and then not corrected? I do not fully understand what you are saying, so Mr. Mullen is your best bet......unless he is said DoDMerb official in your post, in...

Waiver Denied - Any Further Action Possible?

If it is any help, or comfort, I will say this. Don't mean to get too religious, but sometimes God works in strange ways. Perhaps a waiver denial is God's way of telling you that He has something special for you, a special purpose. Maybe He is trying to prevent you from great harm or injury...

http://www.army.mil/usapa/epubs/pdf/r40_501.pdf I THINK that it may be this. I did a little research way back when, and I found this. This is a comprehensive guide of medical standards for military service. It lists every condition that you could be disqualified for, and various other...

    medically disqualified

Smart move to email Mr. Mullen! :thumb: I believe, if worst comes to worst, that if you are not immediately cleared, I think there is some sort of test that you can use to prove your asthma doesn't affect you....at least I think I heard of something, may be expensive though. Good Luck:thumb:
